Badlands has been a family privately owned sanctuary on the well known island known as Kingspoint. For decades the Badlands has been hunted by basically one family member and a occasional guest and over the years has just became a legacy property that everyone in the area knows it to be if not the best one of the best trophy whitetail hunting properties in the south. Also the property is the highest elevation on the Kingspoint island. Badlands has been carefully designed over the years to hold everything needed a trophy whitetail would require to call this place home.
Currently the Badlands habitat is as good as you can ask for with several food plots, tons of natural browse, excellent mix of mass producing hardwoods from Whiteoaks, Red Oaks, Swamp Chestnuts and Water Oaks, also add in mature persimmons , bean trees and other food baring trees.
Miles of interior roads which some of which are planted for food plots, 16 box stands, large destinational food plots are some other great benefits you will find on the Badlands.
It is hard to describe just how well the Badlands has been carefully managed over the years from game management and very low pressure and over time all of these ingredients have made Badlands what it is today.
A nice camp is available currently and can accommodate 10-12 guest. Fully stocked kitchen, refrigerator , oven is in place. Currently ran by a diesel generator and a private well for water. Power can be ran to the campsites if you choose to do so.
Bandlands is a unencumbered property, meaning there are no easements currently in place allowing the new owners the opportunity to exercise these options .
Access: to access the property a public ferry that currently runs 24/7 365 days a year, is in use along with a fractional use of a private ferry.
Land Mix: Badlands is a 1117+/- acre tract, while there is a lease option on an additional 1300 acres owned by a family not a timber company. Next there is an additional 400+/- acre tract bordering the Badlands that could be considered to purchase or lease that is belonged to a timber company.

From Vicksburg, Ms at the intersection of Hanning Rd and Washington, take Hanning Rd to Kings Pt Ferry Rd and proceed on Kings Pt ferry Rd until you see the county ferry on your left.
Take the ferry across the Yazoo River.
