Jeff Danker was born in Edmond, Oklahoma, and raised on a small horse farm in Chandler. From an early age, he helped his father train horses and worked alongside him in the family roofing business. These experiences taught Jeff the value of hard work and determination. Introduced to hunting at just four years old, he later competed in calf roping and team roping, developing a lifelong love for horses and the Western lifestyle.
In 2003, Jeff followed another passion and launched the hunting show BuckVentures. Through hard work and perseverance, the show became a major success and established partnerships with leading brands throughout the outdoor industry. In 2010, Jeff and 2 partners launched Major League Bowhunter, which quickly became one of the most popular hunting shows on outdoor television.
Jeff's greatest passion, however, has always been sharing the Gospel. He has spoken across the country at churches, sportsmen's banquets, and trade shows, while also using his television programs to share the Good News with thousands of viewers each week. After stepping away from Major League Bowhunter, Jeff launched The Woodsman on Sportsman Channel. The show quickly found success and now has a pro staff of more than 200 members, whom Jeff and his family consider an extension of their own family.
In 2019, Jeff became a real estate agent and began consulting on properties throughout Oklahoma, while continuing to mangage and operate BuckVenture and The Woodaman.. His passion for pursuing mature whitetail bucks grew into extensive hands-on experience managing properties he owns and leases across the Midwest and beyond. Today, he helps landowners design, improve, and maintain their farms as thriving big-buck sanctuaries.
That journey ultimately led Jeff to establish Big Horn Land and Estates with his good friend Greg Clearman. By combining Greg's expertise in land and client communication with Jeff's marketing experience and industry relationships, they aim to build one of the premier land brokerages in the United States.
Above all, Jeff is devoted to his wife, Traci, and their two daughters, Jaylee and Gracie. He is a family man guided by faith, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in everything he does.
